Tactical Awards & Achievements

STARFLEET Tactical recognizes members in two distinct ways. Tactical Awards recognize contributions, leadership, sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and service to the gaming community. Tactical Achievements, also known as Tactical Orders, recognize eligible gaming participation with fellow STARFLEET members.

Both programs celebrate the participation, fellowship, and community that make STARFLEET Tactical more than simply winning the game.

Recognition Through Nomination

Tactical Awards

Tactical Awards recognize the actions and contributions members make to gaming within STARFLEET. These awards focus on teaching, promotion, tactical excellence, creativity, organization, leadership, enthusiasm, and sustained dedication.

Member recognition awards

Vice Admiral Lowell Whitaker Award

Recognizes unwavering dedication to gaming in STARFLEET. Awarded at the discretion of the Tactical Council once per calendar year.

The Sokath Award

For teaching a game or offering a useful tip or trick that helps another member overcome a challenge.

The Riker Maneuver Award

For promoting gaming within a chapter, region, or STARFLEET as a whole.

The Picard Maneuver Award

For demonstrating excellence in tactical thinking or achieving significant victories in gaming competitions.

The Tom Paris Award

For creating engaging and entertaining role-playing game content as a player or Game Master.

The Rom Award

For organizing and maintaining games for the enjoyment of members.

The Admiral Hanson Award

For exemplary leadership in STARFLEET Tactical, either administratively or in gaming.

The Admiral Shelby Award

For outstanding enthusiasm and passion for STARFLEET Tactical.

Recognition Through Participation

Tactical Achievements

Tactical Achievements recognize eligible time spent gaming with other STARFLEET members. Participation is logged and progresses toward increasingly higher Tactical Orders.

Participation requirement: At least one other STARFLEET member must be involved in a gaming session for it to count toward achievement credit. Only one member needs to submit the group report as long as the participating members are identified.

How Participation Is Tracked

Eligible sessions are submitted through the designated Tactical tracking form and recorded in 15-minute increments. Participation is cross-checked and verified before credit is applied. Tactical Achievements are issued as members reach the applicable thresholds.
